Faculty Advisor
Advised by Professor Fadi Fathallah from the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, connecting our programming to active faculty research and departmental priorities.
To help students understand and participate in the process through which biomedical discoveries become real-world healthcare solutions — by providing exposure to technology translation, entrepreneurship, commercialization, and the broader biomedical innovation ecosystem.
Students often graduate with strong scientific and engineering knowledge but little exposure to how biomedical innovations actually reach patients — technology translation, intellectual property, regulatory pathways, startup formation, and venture funding. BME Connect exists to close that gap.
